Admins can share a reusable scenario link with people outside the workspace. Visitors can read the brief and practice without entering personal information first. They do not become workspace members or consume seats.

## Create a link

Review the scenario’s brief and rubric. Open its sharing dialog, choose **Share via link**, and continue. For team training, use the external sharing action on the scenario.

Your link is prepared automatically. If this approved scenario version already has an active link, Lira reuses it. Copy the link or choose **Open link** to preview it. No recipient details or configuration form are needed.

Copy your practice link without an additional setup step.

Copy the link and distribute it using your own communication tools. Lira does not send a campaign. The approved version is fixed: later scenario edits do not change that link’s brief or grading rubric.

The URL from **Copy practice link** stays in the browser’s address bar. Visitors can copy that same address to share the scenario with someone else. Each browser gets its own secure session; sharing the scenario link does not share private attempts or unpublished results. Previously shared links continue to work and open this same permanent address.

External sharing is independent of workspace visibility. It does not expose previous attempts, supporting files, private generation context, or another member’s private scenario. Making the scenario private again does not revoke its external links; use **Revoke** when you want to stop external access.

> **Available until you revoke it**
>
> Practice links have no attempt cap or expiration. Public calls use your workspace’s monthly practice capacity. Opening a link uses no voice time, and a call that never connects releases its reservation.

## What visitors see

The public page uses the same cover, goal, call details, and pre-call brief as the scenario overview. A compact card beside the brief explains the scoring targets. Visitors can expand **Scoring rubric** to read each skill’s criteria, then choose **Start practice**. The shared **Ready to practice?** dialog lets them select and test their microphone and play a speaker test. The conversation begins only after they choose **Start call**. Closing the sound check does not use practice time.

Review the scenario and start practice without entering personal information first.

Review the brief and score targets, then expand the rubric for each skill’s criteria.

Check your microphone and speaker before starting the public practice call.

After the call, **See your results** asks for an email address. Choosing **See my results** immediately unlocks and publishes that attempt’s available score, feedback, recording, and transcript. No verification email or name field is required. The **Shared results** note directly below the action names the audience and shared content.

Each attempt stays locked until the visitor explicitly chooses to publish it.

Before submission, results and media are accessible neither to public viewers nor through public replay APIs. The claim form belongs to the browser session that made the call. Entering someone else’s email does not provide access to any of their attempts. Email is self-reported, not verified identity.

The same browser may prefill the email on a later attempt. Each attempt still requires **See my results** before publication.

## Results and the leaderboard

Claimed results use the existing recording player, synchronized transcript, highlights, grades, and feedback. Anyone with a claimed result’s unlisted URL can view its available content while the workspace’s privacy and retention rules permit it.

Review the conversation with its transcript, then jump to a highlight.

Qualifying published guest scores join the existing workspace leaderboard and scenario filters. Entries display the **full submitted email**. Public viewers see only public-eligible entries; private employee results stay protected. Rubric-version eligibility keeps comparisons consistent.

Admins can select **External** in **Results** to review guest practice. **Invite to workspace** remains a separate action; practice alone never enrolls someone.

## Manage shared links

Open [**Settings → Sharing**](https://lira.thoughtly.com/settings/sharing). This page brings availability and reusable practice links together. Search by scenario or use the filters to find a link. The default view includes active links. Choose **All links** or **Revoked** in the status filter to include revoked links.

Example setup: manage public practice links and availability together.

The **Attempts** column shows completed or connected practice and any calls in progress. Open **Manage** to copy or open the practice link, or revoke it. There are no per-link limits to configure.

![A practice link dialog with a copyable URL, Open link, and Revoke link actions, without attempt or expiration settings.](https://lira.thoughtly.com/docs/images/product/practice-link-manage.webp)

Copy, open, or revoke the existing link.

When monthly capacity is unavailable, new calls pause. Visitors can still unlock completed results, and existing results and eligible leaderboard entries remain available under normal retention rules.

**Revoke** also disables associated public results and cancels active practice. Internal records still follow workspace retention. Revoking an approved version applies across its links.

## Availability and integrations

Calls depend on available monthly public-practice capacity. Creating a link does not purchase additional capacity. If Sharing reports that public practice is temporarily unavailable, contact support. Completed results remain available under the normal privacy and retention rules.

Use **Enable sharing** to allow practice through your links. The change saves immediately. To pause, turn off **Sharing enabled** and confirm **Pause sharing**. Pausing blocks new calls and ends active external calls; existing published results remain available unless their access is revoked. If saving fails, the control returns to the saved state and shows an error.

For programmatic sharing, open [**Settings → API keys**](https://lira.thoughtly.com/settings/api-keys). See [manage API keys](https://lira.thoughtly.com/docs/workspace/api-keys) for setup and access boundaries. Keep API keys in your server or secret manager and out of shared URLs. Key management is separate from sharing availability.

Integrations can create reusable links with a scoped API key and an idempotency key using `POST /api/v1/external-practice/links`. Supply the approved publication. Matching list and revoke operations are available through the API and [admin MCP tools](https://lira.thoughtly.com/docs/workspace/ai-agents).
