A certificate records that you met a training scenario's requirements. Those requirements can include an overall score, individual skill minimums, and the scenario goal.

A certificate records the scenario you completed, its issuer, and the issue date. Example details shown.

## Earn a certificate

Open the scenario's certificate requirements before practicing. Meet every requirement in one qualifying training attempt. Requirements are not combined across attempts, and private meeting prep or author test calls do not award training certificates.

When a qualifying attempt belongs to an assignment, it also completes that assignment. You do not need to submit the attempt or publish the certificate for that completion to count. Certificate completion can be retained even when the workspace does not retain detailed scores.

## Find and download it

Open **Certificates** in the sidebar, or open the certificate from a qualifying result. Review the recipient, issuer, issue date, and expiry before sharing. Use **Download PDF** to save a copy.

Certificate dates stay the same in your collection, sharing details, public verification page, and downloaded PDF, even when you view them from another time zone.

Search your collection by title or issuer. Open **Filter** beside search to choose **Valid**, **Expired**, or **Revoked**, or clear it to return to all statuses. **Explore scenarios** stays on the right of the toolbar.

Search and status filters sit together above your certificate collection.

A scenario may issue a certificate with an expiry date or no expiry. Expired and revoked certificates are different from currently valid credentials; check the status shown on the certificate.

## Make a certificate public

Use **Share on LinkedIn** or the certificate's sharing action. The dialog previews what becomes public and provides sharing or profile details.

- **Publish & open LinkedIn** makes the verification page public and opens LinkedIn's sharing flow.
- **Publish & copy link** makes the verification page public and copies its URL.
- The profile option provides details for you to copy into LinkedIn; it does not automatically fill your profile.

Use **Make private** to turn off public certificate access again. A private certificate is still yours; it just is not available through the public verification page.

> **A certificate is not a replay**
>
> Publishing a certificate does not publish your recording, transcript, or full feedback. Those have a separate submission and replay-sharing flow.

If qualification seems incorrect, compare the attempt with [the scoring requirements](https://lira.thoughtly.com/docs/results/feedback-and-scoring) and contact your workspace admin.
