Leaderboards recognize qualifying submitted training results. They do not include every practice call, and they never include private meeting prep.

Leaderboards show eligible submitted results. This example uses fictional participants.

## What earns a place

Practice a training assignment, meet its certificate requirements, and choose to submit the eligible attempt. A person's highest qualifying submitted score is used for their ranking. Team rankings use the qualifying member scores represented in the ranking.

Use the available scenario or team filters to compare the relevant results. Different scenarios can assess different skills and requirements, so always check what the selected view represents.

## People and Teams

**People** displays named rankings when the workspace uses Submitted results mode and the People leaderboard is enabled.

**Teams** is available when enabled and allowed by the privacy mode. In Anonymous team scores mode, contributors must consent, and a team needs at least five consenting contributors before an aggregate is shown. There is no individual score drilldown in that mode.

Workspace admins manage ranking preferences under **Privacy & rankings**. Depending on those settings and available results, you may see one view, both views, or no rankings.

## Why a result may not appear

- The attempt did not meet every qualifying requirement.
- The attempt was not connected to an assignment or has not been submitted.
- You are viewing a different scenario or team.
- The submission was withdrawn, access changed, or its eligible data expired.
- Rankings are disabled or a privacy threshold has not been reached.

Earning a certificate alone does not make your score public. Where leaderboard audio is offered, sharing it requires a separate choice for that attempt.

An empty leaderboard is an invitation to practice, not evidence that an existing private attempt has disappeared. Learn about [submitting an attempt](https://lira.thoughtly.com/docs/results/submitting-and-sharing) or [workspace privacy](https://lira.thoughtly.com/docs/workspace/privacy).
