Your first practice
Go from choosing a scenario to finding one useful improvement in your first conversation.

You need access to a Lira workspace, a working microphone, and a browser that can access it. Headphones can help you hear clearly and reduce echo.
1. Choose your conversation
Open Scenarios and select a scenario. Assigned scenarios are highlighted, but you can also explore other published scenarios available to you. If you are completing an assignment, open its assigned card so the attempt is connected to that assignment.
Read Your goal, the counterpart and situation, and the certificate requirements. You do not need to memorize a script. Focus on what you want to learn about the person you will speak with.
2. Check your audio
Select Start practice. In Ready to practice?, enable your microphone when prompted. Choose the right microphone, speak to check the input indicator, and use Test speaker to check playback.
Allowing microphone access prepares the call; it does not begin the conversation. Select Start call when you are ready.
If the check fails, follow microphone and audio troubleshooting.
3. Practice, then end the call
Speak naturally and give your counterpart time to respond. Use Mute if you need a pause, and End when you have finished. Call controls remain available while you navigate within the workspace.
4. Review one thing
When feedback is ready, open the attempt. Read the overall outcome, then review a skill and its supporting moments. If recording and transcript content are available, use them to hear what happened in context.
Choose one change to make before selecting Practice again. Short calls still receive a score when dialogue was captured, with zero for skills not demonstrated. A score based on an incomplete capture does not establish certificate eligibility.
You choose whether to submit
An eligible assigned attempt can be submitted separately, depending on workspace privacy. You can review your feedback before making that decision.
