Lira emails help you keep track of invitations, assigned training, and important account changes. Emails link back to Lira. Recordings, transcripts, scores, and coaching notes stay inside the app.

Choose your reminders

Open the workspace menu, select Your account, and find Email notifications. Changes save when you switch an option on or off.

Choose training and certificate reminders separately from the weekly team summary.
  • Training reminders controls reminders about incomplete assignments and certificates approaching or reaching expiry.
  • Weekly team summary controls the Monday summary for people who manage a team. A summary is sent only when current direct reports have overdue training.

These choices apply to your current workspace. You can also use Manage email preferences at the bottom of a reminder email. That link opens the settings for the workspace that sent it.

If saving fails, your previous choice is restored and an error appears. Try again before leaving the page.

Account security emails, invitations, and essential training confirmations are still sent when reminders are off. Turning off reminders does not change your assignments or their due dates.

Assigned training and deadlines

You receive an email when training is assigned to you. Assignments created together are grouped in one email. A welcome email can include your first assignments when you join a workspace.

For incomplete training, reminders begin after three days and repeat weekly. An assignment with a due date also has reminders three days before the deadline and on the due date. Overdue reminders follow on days one, three, and seven, then weekly.

Scheduled reminders use 9 a.m. in your workspace's time zone. Weekend reminders move to the next weekday. Eligible training is combined into one reminder per workspace per day, and its current status is checked before sending.

A qualifying attempt that meets the scenario's certificate requirements completes the assignment—even when the attempt stays private. Completion stops training reminders. Submitting an unsuccessful attempt does not stop them.

A changed deadline or removed assignment can trigger an update if it was already announced to you. Removal stops reminders for that assignment.

Invitations and account access

Workspace invitations arrive immediately, with follow-up reminders after three and six days while the invitation remains valid. Reminders stop when it is accepted, revoked, or expired. An expired invitation does not renew automatically; contact your workspace admin if you need a new one.

Sign-in codes, verification codes, and password-reset links arrive when requested. A successful password reset also produces a confirmation. Never share your codes or password-reset links.

Practice, coaching, and certificates

Submitting an attempt produces a confirmation. If processing takes longer than two minutes, Lira can notify you when feedback becomes available. New coaching produces an email that opens the app; the note itself is not included in the email.

Completing training produces one confirmation with a link to your certificate. Certificates with an expiry date have reminders 30 and seven days before expiry, followed by an expiry notice. Certificates with no expiry do not receive expiry reminders. Revocation produces an essential status update.

If an email is missing

Check your spam folder, the email address shown in Your account, and your notification choices. A completed assignment, expired invitation, removed membership, or replaced certificate may no longer need its earlier reminder.
