Privacy, sharing, and retention
Understand what stays private, what a submission shares, and why content may become unavailable.
On this page
Practice, submission, recording, and public sharing are separate decisions. The workspace privacy mode determines which result and sharing features are available.
Workspace privacy modes
| Mode | What it means |
|---|---|
| Submitted results | Practice starts private. An eligible voluntary submission shares available scores, feedback, and call content with authorized reviewers. |
| Anonymous team scores | Consenting results contribute to team aggregates once at least five contributors are eligible. Individual scores and call content are not exposed through team rankings. |
| Activity only | Participation and credential completion are retained. Detailed scores, recordings, and transcripts are not retained for later result review. |
In Activity only mode, feedback may be offered temporarily after the call. Review it when it is available. The I've read my feedback action clears temporary feedback, and its delivery window also expires; it is not a saved result you can rely on reopening later.
What does not happen automatically
- Completing a call does not submit it to a manager.
- Earning a certificate does not publish that certificate.
- Publishing a certificate does not publish the conversation.
- Submitting an attempt does not grant leaderboard audio consent.
- A private meeting prep does not become team training or a submission.
A replay link is different: when you choose a sharing flow that creates one, anyone with the link can replay the available content. Use Turn off link to revoke it. See submitting and sharing.
Changes and retention
Authorized admins can change privacy under Privacy & rankings. A stricter mode can remove access to existing scores or call content and schedule its deletion. Moving later to a less restrictive mode does not restore older private or deleted content.
Recordings, transcripts, and feedback can also expire under retention rules. Missing content is not necessarily a loading error. A certificate or completed assignment may remain even when the underlying call content is no longer available.
